About Lekkside
Lekkside Education Fair is a leading international education platform focused on quality student recruitment and meaningful connections between global institutions and Africa’s student community. Each year, we host participation from 20+ countries and 30+ international institutions from Australia, Canada, UK, USA, Germany, France, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and more connect directly with students and families who are genuinely interested in studying abroad.
Why we work this way
The international education industry often measures success by numbers, footfall, booth counts, and attendance. But at Lekkside Education Fair, we believe quality matters more than quantity.
Our focus is on connecting institutions with the right students- serious, qualified, and genuinely interested in studying abroad.
To ensure a focused and productive experience for both exhibitors and students, we limit each fair to a maximum of 20 participating institutions.
This allows each institution to engage meaningfully with qualified students without being overwhelmed by excessive competition. We also maintain country-based exhibitor quotas to ensure a balanced representation of destinations at each event.
By carefully managing the number and mix of exhibitors, we make it easier for students and parents to identify institutions that match their academic interests, preferred destinations, and study-abroad goals.

How we work
Most of these cost us money in the short term. They are the reason institutions and families both keep coming back.

Third-party recruiters, domestic agencies and alumni-run agencies cannot exhibit. Registered agents may assist an institution, but no agent branding, uniforms or materials appear at a stand. A student always knows exactly who they are speaking to.

Rather than focusing only on large attendance numbers, we prioritize qualified, serious, and study-ready students.

Everyone registers in advance and is counselled before the day, so they turn up knowing what to ask and carrying the documents that let an institution assess them on the spot.

Entry costs nothing and never has. We are paid by the institutions that exhibit, which means no family is ever charged for access to information they need.

Our market research cites UNESCO, the World Bank, WENR and Campus France with reference years. Where sources disagree, we publish both figures rather than the flattering one.
